department checkout settings

Hi SFC,

I have two departments in my ecommerce site, one of which is set up for checkout with with balance, and the other is set up for checkout with PayPay only. I'm finding though that in the PayPal only department, my customers are somehow checking out with balance. Do you have any suggestions for how I can prevent that? Thanks!

    Hi there Katherine,

    Yes, there is a setting in the backend that we can activate to prevent this from happening. Otherwise, the checkout will always use credits for checkout first, even if the department is labelled PayPal or Member Assembler Payments only.

    Yes, it would be great if you can activate that setting so that customers can only pay with PayPal in one of my departments. Thanks so much!

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for making that change! I have another question: some of my members tell me that they'd like to use a different email address than the one they signed up with for our CSA. I then enter the new email address like a second user on the account. Then some of them have trouble logging in. Is this their mistake, or is there a better way for me to change their email address on their account? I don't see an email address edit option in the "view members" section. Thanks!

    Once you've entered a secondary user into the account, they should be able to login without a problem. Did they specify where they were running into trouble?

    You can edit the users' email address by navigating to their membership, clicking on the Users tab, and clicking View and Edit User Information.
