Hi! Had some concerns from folks visiting my website about the lack of an valid SSL certificate. They do not want to shop on my site without a secure connection. Obviously this is a detriment to my business. Can you help?

The individual signup pages where members make their share/pickup selections as well as e-commerce departments where users choose their items are not on secure pages, this is correct. These are pages where no sensitive data is being shared. However, when the user goes to a checkout page in both the Member Assembler signup process or in e-commerce, they are transferred to a secure page with a valid SSL certificate.

Got it. Is it possible have all pages with a valid SSL(TSL)? I have
received messages from folks regarding this, but customer trust is an issue
and I'm sure there are people who visit the site, don't trust it and don't
bother to let me know that they won't shop there. They have no way of
knowing that the pages "become secure" as they move through the checkout
process. Also, didn't google recently indicate that lack of https on your
site will move you down in google search results??

    Thanks.

It's true that within the last 6 months or so several of the more popular browsers (Chrome and Firefox specifically) have made more of an attempt to alert users to non-secure pages, even if there is no sensitive data being shared. This has certainly made some users a bit jumpy. We understand and are hoping to address this in the coming months.

I'm not sure about the issue related to Google search results.

Ok thanks. Please let me know what you figure out/decide to do. I do
think this is an important issue and hope you all can find a solution.
