template photo settings

I've been trying to test out different templates (i.e., Photogenic, Snapshot) for our website. However, whenever I try to use one of our own photos for the header images, they are too big to fit in the resizing "preview" box and end up only fitting 20-40% of the photo when ideally I'd like to use most of the photo. How can I fix this? Do I need to find a way to make my pictures smaller? Is there anyway to resize the image templates to include more of my photos?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    Hello there,

Your best bet is to settle on a template and let us know which images you'd like to include in the header. We'll be happy to take care of any formatting/editing that needs done. You can either upload them into the system and let us know which ones they are or email them directly to me at [email blocked]

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks so much. At this point we will pass and look into updating our
    template later.
