direction for customers to add $ to their Farm Store Credit Account

Do you have written directions for us to give our customers about "how to" do different tasks in SFC? For example:

How to add $ to your Farm Store Credit Account?

How to log in to your account to see your Farm Credit balance?

    Hi Christine:

    We don't have any ready made "how-to's" for these things.

    Farm Store Credit can be handled in a couple different ways. You can either do it as a member type upgrade or you can just set it up as its own store department. If you do it as a member type upgrade, the credit can be auto assigned, but it won't force them to pay immediately. If you do it as a separate store, it will force them to pay at checkout but it doesn't auto-assign the credit. It looks like in the past you maybe did the separate store, but if you want to discuss your options further, please let us know.

    As for seeing their balance, if a member logs in by going to: http://stoutoak.csasignup.com/login - their balance will be shown right on the main page after logging in. There will be a "Store Balance" section that will say "Your current store balance is X".

    Thank you for your posted reply below. I am new to SFC and trying to help
    a customer add farm store credit to their account. If we have the "separate
    store" like you said in your email what webpage does a customer go to add
    money to their account? The person who does this for us is not available
    and I wanted to make a How To page for customers with this request.

    Hi Christine:

    It looks like currently all of the departments in your online store are disabled. In order for people to be able to purchase from a department, it would need to be enabled. To do this, go to - Sell --> Manage --> Departments.

    When someone is logged in, it will show them the departments that they have access to underneath where it lists the amount of store credit they have available. You can also use the direct URL - http://stoutoak.csasignup.com/store/farm-store-credit
