Hello! When I copy and paste my newsletter link onto Facebook, I am no longer able to edit the text and add pictures. Something with the amazon service you are using for files isn't allowing me to edit this as it's not pulling a meta description. Did you guys do anything different recently ??

    Hello,

I've passed this along to our developer--I'll let you know what I hear from him. We did recently change how files are hosted on the internet, so that is probably the source of the change you're seeing. Sorry for the inconvenience; thanks for bringing this to my attention!

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Great - I noticed it isn't an issue with other links within SFC so it's
definitely a file hosting issue that certainly needs to be addressed!
    Thanks so much!

Any update on this? It looks SO unprofessional sharing it on Facebook the
    way it is right now.

One of our developers and I are going back and forth about this. I'll get back to you as soon as we have an answer for you.

    Hi there Stefanie,

It looks like the issue is probably not related to our hosting change. We made the switch from local hosting (on our server) to Amazon hosting over the winter but it looks like you've had some posts since then which you've been able to have photos attached to/edit the descriptions of (eg this one from July: https://www.facebook.com/bayfieldfoods/posts/1559337124086275).

The issue could be a change in the facebook user interface.

One possible solution is to post the newsletter link to a specific page on your site which also includes an image and some text. If you share that page on facebook, it'll display more nicely.

I'll follow up by forwarding you our developer's thoughts on this issue.

    Best,

    Daniel

So, post it to the blog or something in addition to just uploading it under
    newsletters?

Yup, that's what I'd recommend trying.
