Hi,

I send out a weekly email to a group I have created in our SFC email.
I would like to cut and paste a cover letter I have created in Word. I do not want to type it in every week.
I would like to make the needed date adjustments in Word, then cut and paste in the body of my email.
For some reason I can not do this in the SFC email. I can do it in my personal email and other email accounts I have...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks you,
Andrea

    Hi there Andrea,

When you say that you cannot copy and paste the document into the SFC mailing tool, what exactly do you mean? What happens when you try to do so?

Once you have your message in the system, you can also utilize the Mail Archive tool. Click Edit and Send Again next to your message, make your changes, and choose who you'd like to send it to.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello,

I send a weekly email out.  I have a cover letter that I send to my Chef's along with an attachment.  Each week I make changes to this original letter, copy and paste it in the body of my email, add an attachment and send it.(this letter is saved in Word).

For some reason I can not paste this letter within SFC email.  I works with our other emails; business and personal.

I think using the Mail Archive tool may work.  Where would I find it?

    Hi there Andrea,

You should be able to copy and paste into the SFC mail tool just like you can into any other text editor. Can you be more specific about what's going wrong when you try to do this?

    Thanks,

I go to the doc, letter or whatever it is I am trying to copy or cut and paste.
I right click, copy and try to paste it into the email, but when I right click I do not get an option to paste.
Maybe if you could try to do it to see if it works for you.

    Hi there Andrea,

You're correct, when you right click on the field, no paste option appears. Try this: after copying your desired text, click in the SFC mail text box. Then, hold down control and hit v (on windows). Or, if you're on a mac, hold down command and hit v.

Let me know if that works for you!

I go to the doc, letter or whatever it is I am trying to copy or cut and paste.
I right click, copy and try to paste it into the email, but when I right click I do not get an option to paste.
Maybe if you could try to do it to see if it works for you.

    Hi there Andrea,

You should be able to copy and paste into the SFC mail tool just like you can into any other text editor. Can you be more specific about what's going wrong when you try to do this?

    Thanks,

    Yes, sorry.
Copy/paste commands do work within the SFC emails, but I can not cut or copy from another program and insert into the body of an email I am creating through SFC Web Mail??

    Hi there Andrea,

I received a blank response--did you intend to send a message?

    Thanks,

    Hi there Andrea,

The Mail Archive is at Connect-->Mailing List-->Mail Archive. Please let me know if you have further questions!

When you say that you cannot copy and paste the document into the SFC mailing tool, what exactly do you mean? What happens when you try to do so?

Once you have your message in the system, you can also utilize the Mail Archive tool. Click Edit and Send Again next to your message, make your changes, and choose who you'd like to send it to.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks you,
    Andrea
