Hey guys! Quick question

So, any share that is an "every other week" share gets assigned two different start dates. I take the total every other week folks and split them in half so we have the same amount of veg boxes every week (same for fruit and meat and flowers)

How can I do this? In the past, I manually did this in our Access database.

Is there a way to go through all the customers and their orders and assign them a particlar schedule for pick up?

We can split those into A/B or Even/Odd weeks for you. We have a process that will divide those up for you. It looks like we need to do that for the Veggie, Meat, Fruit, Bakery and the Plus Add-on shares, is that correct?

    Hey! GREAT!

veggies, meat, fruit, flowers and plus items yes. Bakery got cancelled

So, obviously the veggies and plus items per customer go together.

We are taking fruit orders until July so we don't have to do that yet.

    Flowers start mid june

We'll just need to make sure that if someone has a half veg, that their
flowers and fruit are the same half weeks

    Hi Stefanie:

Ok, I split up all of the summerveggies, fruit, meat, flowers and plus bi-weekly items.

Under each of those share types you'll now see the generic bi-weekly option and then two new options - an A week option and a B week option. These new options are disabled so new signups won't see them, they'll still signup under the generic option. If you continue taking signups, any new signups will need to manually be assigned to an A or B week option.

I made sure that users with multiple bi-weekly share types receive all of their shares on the same week (all A or all B). The process we uses doesn't take pickup location into consideration, so while you have generally even A and B weeks for each share type (36 A-week veg, 37 B-week veg), the splits at individual locations could be skewed a bit one way or the other.

If you go to - Member Assembler --> Statistics --> Dashboard --> Deliveries, you can get a pickup by pickup breakdown of the number of shares at each location. If need be, you can re-assign a person to a different week by going into their membership, go to the Types tab and editing the type for the member.

Like I said, I did do a check to make sure all A's and B's were matched up, but if you want to double check my work, I did a member export of all memberships with bi-weekly share types. If you go to - Member Assembler --> Export, it is the export file timestamped for 11:24am. If you look at that spreadsheet, you can go line by line to make sure everyone's lined up.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Sorry I missed one - Can you separate out the Whole Diet Every Other Week
into group a and b as well?

    THANK YOU!

So I see when I go to sort there is "summer veggie every other week" and
ALSO "summer veggie every other week a" and then a b option. I assume I
just ignore the "summer veggie every other week" and only use the a and b
    correct?

Ok, split up the Whole Diet bi-weeklies as well.

And yes, you'll see the 3 options - the generic bi-weekly option and then the A week and B week options under each share type. Any new signups will still go into the generic option and you'll need to re-assign them, so keep an eye on new signups, but otherwise you'll be able to ignore the generic bi-weekly option under each type.
