Good morning,

There are several updates that need to be made to Penn's Corner Farm Alliance website - new staff, job postings, and CSA information. What is the process for updating this information? Please advise. Thank you!

Jeralyn

    Hi there Jeralyn,

Really nice to meet you electronically and welcome to Penn's Corner! I want to wish you the best as you get started there!

In order to make edits to the site, you'll log-in to the SFC control panel at sfc.smallfarmcentral.com, just as you would to make changes to Member Assembler. Has Greg passed on login information to you yet? If not, we can get you set up with one of the existing Farmer User accounts or provide you one at [email blocked]

Most of the changes to the site are made through the Create Content menu. Some things (menus and template) are changed via the Display menu.

Once you login, there are two main ways to navigate to these pages to make the changes. If you click on View Public Site in the top right, you'll be able to navigate to the page from the public side and click Edit to make the changes (only available because you're logged in in your browser). Or, you can go through the control panel directly (eg Create Content-->Staff-->Manage Staff).

You'll find that some of your pages are template pages that you can find directly in the menu under Create Content. Others are Farmer Defined Pages (FDPs). To edit these, go to Create Content-->Farmer Defined Pages-->Manage FDPs.

Don't hesitate to be in touch with any questions that come up for you. We're also available via phone at 412.567.3864 and via live chat most of the time (there will be a pop up in your control panel when we're on).

All best and again, good luck getting started at Penn's Corner!

    Daniel
