We recently attended a website workshop and got a consult with a web designer and got a few ideas for our website. One of the other templates you have fits our objectives better. Is it possible to switch templates? We like the Premium Template 10, farmstand I believe. We are also looking to add ecommerce to the site.

Please let us know what our options will to switch over.

    Hi Mike:

Yes, you can switch between templates. Most of your content will transfer between the templates without issue. We will need to re-do the header/logo image and you might need to re-install some widgets, but all pages will transfer between the templates without issue.

If you want to work on your template settings prior to making it go live, there is a setting called "administrator test" that allows you to do this. You can go to - Display --> Template Settings --> Template Settings and click the "Choose New" tab. next to the template you want to use, you can click the "Administrator Test" option. This turns the template on on your computer only. If you click the "View public site" while the administrator test mode is on, you will see your site as that template. Others will continue to see the current template.

If you are interested in e-commerce, we could upgrade you to our Merchant account. It is $75/month. Templates are the same and nothing would really change with the overall feel of your site, you would just gain the ability to do e-commerce. That account also does include a small upgrade in many of the other features (larger mailing list, more photo capacity, more emails, etc).
