Paypal Transaction Fee

My Paypal Transaction fee is applied perfectly at checkout, however if people initially choose to pay by invoice/check, and then come back and click on the "Make Payments" link, the Paypal transaction fee won't be applied. Is there any way to change this so that a transaction fee will go through?

Yes, the online payment fee is only charged at the initial signup. It is possible if someone initially signed out as invoice that they could log in and make a Paypal payment without getting automatically charged.

If you are sending out payment requests, you may want to add a note to the email saying that unless they previously checked out with Paypal that they should not pay online or else they will be assessed an additional fee (which you would need to add on manually).

Unfortunately due to the way that the charges/discounts tool is set up, there is not a way to make this fee automatically occur on people's accounts who switch up their payment type.

    Hope this helps clarify things.
