spell checker

I tried to use the spell checker and after I was asked to install, ieSpell I tried again and again I was asked to install the , iespell. what am I doing wrong?

    Hi Art,
    That's a very old version of Windows, if you meant Windows 98. Is the
    Internet Explorer version you are using the same version as the one that
    shipped with Windows 98? That is IE4?
    I think what the spell-checker is looking for on your computer is a piece
    of later versions of Internet Explorer.
    I would recommend upgrading to the newest, free version of Internet
    Explorer - it's 10 now - or trying to use another free web browser like
    Chrome or Firefox - to use the spell-checker. I don't think it will work
    with your current configuration.
