Dear Friends of Local Farmers

Early August is a busy with celebrations of Local Foods Week and the
Centre Co. Farm Tour and we are in it up to our eyeballs.

Friday, Aug 3 here at Over the Moon Farm, there is a field day on
"Making Hay by Hand" sponsored by PASA (Pa Assn for Sustainable
Agriculture) It's on their website below.

Friday eve and Saturday Aug 3-4 PA Organic Farm Fest at the Grange
Fairground in Centre Hall - tons of activities, music and educational
events. Seehttp://farmfest2012.paorganic.org/

Thursday August 9 at the State Theatre in State College, there will be
a viewing of the film "Fresh" at 7 PM ($10) with a panel of farmers
(including us Over the Moonies) and others for discussion afterwards.
See http://www.freshthemovie.com/

Saturday August 11 Farm Tour and Open House at local farms in Centre
County, including us here at Over the Moon

To learn more about all of these events see: http://www.pasafarming.org/events/pasa-events/centre-county-farm-tour

OK so, WHAT ABOUT OUR MEAT SCHEDULE??

Due to all the above, we are not doing any markets this week (July 30-
Aug 3). Our next meat day at Tait Farm will be Tuesday, August 7 from
2-6 PM. We will send out a reminder on SUnday. Meantime, hopefully we
will see some of you at the above events! Our next meat drop off for
Healthy Harvest CSA will beThursday August 9th at the Unitarian Church
on Wapelani Drive from 4-6:30PM. Anyone who wants to can also order
meats for that day.

Thanks all! See you soon.

    Hi Adrienne,

That means this person clicked "spam" on the message that you guys sent.
You should probably just remove her from your list manually.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Simon,

Not sure I should be addressing this to you but you are my contact, so
    here goes!

Just wondering what the limit is on a group mailing size? And how many
groups can you have? Lyn (Lyn Garling of Over the Moon Farm) was
asking me why when the group shows that she only has 445 group email
members she is being told she is bumping up against the limit of the
group, which she thought is 500? She does have two groups and that
total is almost adding up to 500 so I am wondering if there is limit
of 500 total emails? Which doesn't necessarily make sense since she
    isn't sending out 500 at a time...

Anyway, that is the question: if the limit is 500 emails per list, why
is it telling her she is running up on the limit when the list only
    has 445?

Also, what does it take to be able to have more emails, just in case
    that is needed?

Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to your response,

    Hi Adrienne,

You are currently signed up for the Harvester level subscription package, which allows 500 email addresses, in total. So, it's not 500 per group, but 500 users combined. So that's probably why you're getting those warning notices that you're near 500 (as it looks like you have 445 in your General Mailing list and 52 in your Healthy Harvest Mailing list.)

If you find you need a little more allowance for a bigger mailing list, I can up your limit; if you bypass that, we may want to chat about you moving up to the next subscription level (which allows for 1,000).

Hope this helps? Let me know if it generates more questions?

    Best,
    Shannon
