Is there a way to embed a slide show into a FDP?

    Hi Bronwyn,

You can think of a slideshow in the Control Panel as an FDP with a slideshow embedded in it. Therefore, you can simply create your slideshow and add content to that page in one step. If you already have an FDP created and you want to add a slideshow to this existing page, you have two options:

    1. Create your slideshow page and copy the information from the FDP over to it to create a new page with a slideshow in it (you can then delete the old page and put the new page in it's place in your navigation)

    2. You can use outside software to create your slideshow and then embed this into your existing FDP by inserting the html code. You can find free slideshow software by searching the internet. (like this one: http://www.photosnack.com/) Or, check any photo editing and sharing software that you are already using. For example, you can make slideshows using photos in your Flickr account (http://www.flickrslideshow.com/).
Once you have created the slideshow, look for instructions about how to embed it into a website. Usually you will simply need to copy and paste a code into your FDP page. Here are our instructions about adding html code to your webpages, using a YouTube video as an example: http://support.smallfarmcentral.com/kb/small-farm-central/inserting...

Let me know if you have any additional questions or if you get stuck at any point. I'd be glad to help you further to get this set up.

    Best,
    -Lauren, Farmer Support
