Why do only some recipes in the recipe database have an "edit" option? I would like to edit a few recipes but they only have a "Remove this recipe" link.

    Hi Helena:

You can only edit recipes that you have uploaded to the database. While you are free to add other farm's recipes to your site, you are not permitted to make changes to that recipe. If you want a modified version of an existing recipe, you'll need to use the "upload recipe" option to add it to the database in its modified form.

    Hope you are well.

Might it be that the person who uploaded the recipe no longer works with
our farm? and their admin profile was removed from the system?

    Thanks,
    Helena

The recipes are identified by the farm ID not the user ID, so probably what it is is that the recipe you are using was originally uploaded by another Small Farm Central farmer.
