Can you please add the following photo to the header (instead of the very cute goat)? And could you please change the color of Northern Roots Farm to brown or dark brown, whichever shows up better.

Ok thanks! I was wondering if that was the case...sorry I'm not more tech

Here were the other changes I had wondered about:

    1. Is it possible to change the background color on the pages to a pale tan
    instead of a pale gray?

    2. In the Event Calendar it says, "This is the default description for this
page". Is there a way to remove that or change it...i can't seem to find a
way to do it. Is that just some verbage that shows up when I look at it or
will everyone else be able to see that also?

    Thanks!! :)

    1) Shannon will be back in in a couple hours. She should be able to take care of that for you.

    2) I removed that text, but if you want something to be there, go to - Display --> Navigation --> Menu Manager. Find the Event Calendar item in the "menu items settings" table and in the last column, there is a description field. If you add text in that box, it will appear on the Calendar page. Be sure to save your changes at the bottom of that table.

    Hi Holly,

Unfortunately, changing the pale grey color would require me to go into the code and do some tinkering...we charge for this type of customization...want me to get you a quote for it (need to check with Simon on what we would charge)..

Sure...if it's cheap and a sure thing (won't mess other things up) I would
consider it, but otherwise I'll live with the pale gray. I sure like
everything else that you've been able to change!! :)

    Good morning:)

I had a few family members critique my site this weekend before I start
advertising and here are a few new changes if possible:

    1. To break up the look of a few pages I put some pictures with text into
tables. The text has weird spacing in the table and I can't seem to change
it. Is it possible to make it look like the text on the rest of the site?
None of us like the weird spacing look.

    2. At the very bottom right hand corner of the site where it has All
content property of...can you put the 2225 down to the next line with the
    rest of the address?

    3. I looked through the sample showcase for what the different type of
blogs can look like. Blogger has a "magazine" format available (http://
takingbackthefarm.blogspot.com/ for example) that I really like. Is it
possible to have that format with SFC? If not I think I will blog with
Blogger and simply link to that site. Until I figure out what I'm going to
do can you possibly take off "blog starting soon" in the News from the farm
    part on the home page?

They've also made suggestions on things I need to add so there will
probably be more things coming up this week...thanks for all of your help:)
And if I can do some of these things please tell me how or point out what
page it might be on in the download so that I don't always have to bother
    you guys to do it:)

    Hi Holly,

    1. Which pages are you having trouble with specifically? I was able to go in and adjust your "2012 The beginning for NRF" just by moving around the images and adjusting the spacing around them with the image editor. Sometimes you will just have to make adjustments and then refresh your website to see if they are the way you want them to be. I'm not sure I see where you added a table, but perhaps you are referring to another page.

    2. I fixed this so that your address is all on one line.

    3. Our blog is pre-formatted. You are welcome to use another blogging site and link to it on your Small Farm Central website. We have other farmers that do this who like the look and features or more advanced blogging software. You can delete your blog posts (which takes them out of your news feed) by navigating to Create Content > News/blog > Manage. I have deleted the "Blog Starting Soon" post for you.

Thank you:) The weird spacing in the tables are in the 2013 - year of
infrastructure page under The Farm tab and also in What's Growin' On under
    The Food tab.

    Hi Holly,

I heard back from Simon...we charge $150 for changing the pale grey to a color of your choice..Let me know if that sounds good and I'll get started on that for you.

    Hi Holly,

I was able to fix those pages for you. I don't think creating a table to insert photos is the best way to get the formatting you are looking for since the spacing all had to be cleaned up in the html code. In a table, hitting return to start a new line also starts a new paragraph which is why each line had a space between it and the following one. You may want to instead position your photos in the text you write, and then use the photo editing tools to add space around the photos and to place them on the right or left side of your paragraphs.

Thanks! With the new editing toolbar I don't think I have the option
anymore of wrapping text around pictures do I? If so I can't figure it out.

    Hi Holly,

When you insert an image, you can use the alignment tools to adjust where the images sits on your page (to the left, in the center, to the right). You can also adjust the vertical and horizontal "white" space that appears between the text and the photo by using the advanced tab in the "Inset/Edit" image tool.
