Protecting photos

Hi there -

I was talking to a friend who has a website for her small business, and she said she has had to start "right click protecting" her photos because they were being stolen and used on other websites without her permission. I haven't had that happen yet, but I'd like to prevent it.

She was able to do that through her gallery, but I didn't see that option in the "manage photos" section here. Is there a way to do that with our SFC gallery?

Thanks!

Angela

    Hi Angela,

I don't believe we've installed the right-click feature on our gallery, but let me check with Simon to see if he as anything to add. Will be in touch!

    Hi Angela,

That is not a feature we offer and that kind of thing only offers a very
cursory sense of protection because anyone with any determination could get
through that kind of thing. The internet is an inherently insecure medium,
so it is tough to secure photos like that!
