proration feature not working

Hi Simon,

I set up our Fall season for the weekly proration to begin 10/23 , but it
dosen't seem to be working. People are signing up and still paying full
price. What am I doing wrong?

    Asha,

    Sorry about the confusion. The prorated discount start date is not the date when the discount is actually applied, but the date in which you want the prorating schedule to start. For example: You would like a discount to be applied every 7 days, and so your first discount will be applied 7 days from the start date. I went ahead and changed your start date to 10/16 so that the first discount was enabled on 10/23 and the next one will be applied on 10/30, which follows the schedule that you had in mind. You can learn more about this by reading the Prorated Membership Discounts section of the Charges and Discounts Cookbook article.

    If you need to give a refund to those people who didn't get the discount, but should have, you can read about that here: "Where do I enter in a payment or make adjustments to an invoice?".
