I ran across a report called Automatic Scheduled Payments and there are 4
people who had failed payments: I know that Michael Welch called and paid
his and it seems like when I look at his records, he did indeed pay. ****

I don’t know about the rest – Can you look to assure me that they haven’t
paid and then suggest how I might go about remedying this situation: They
are Jill Lestina-Warnest, Ann Brownlee and Nancy Mike Frank. ****

Thanks. ****

If they show up in failed payments, that means a scheduled payment was attempted on their card and the payment failed for some reason. Perhaps due to insufficients funds or expired credit card or whatever.

At that point, it sends an email to the member telling them to update their card. Some will have failed and done that and then the payment is removed from "failed" and marked as paid.

These people did not update their card. If Michael paid over the phone, you should mark his payment as "Mark Paid" so his balance will be correct.

The rest of the people you should email or call and get them to pay you the balance of their share or use the link in the email to pay.

    Hope this helps!
    Simon.

I know Michaels card had been stolen and he canceled it and did another card, wouldn't that have taken care of it? If I mark it as paid, it won't add a payment since his record shows fully paid.

Yes, his is all set. Looks like the payment was attempted on 3/27 & failed. Then he came back a few months later to pay it.

The "mark as paid" does not add it back into his balance.. it assumes you have taken it into account in some other way. I have done this for Welsh, so he is all set now.
