Pro-rated

To clarify on the pro-rated set up.

Ideally I would like the pro-rated discount to start on Thursdays because that's when we deliver so anyone signing up on Thursday is signing up for the next week. So if I have the pro-rated start date as Wednesday will that act as the start of the new weeks discount?

That is correct. In the case of a weekly proration, the start date should be set to one week before you'd like the first proration to take place. Put another way, you want to use the last possible time someone could sign up for and be delivered that week's share.

So, say your delivery is on Fridays @ 8am but you harvest/wash/pack on Thursday mornings and build your harvest list Wednesday night, you might want that cut off to be Wednesday afternoon. You'll set the prorate start date to one week before the Wednesday afternoon when you want your first proration to begin.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about prorations!

Great! Final question about every other week shares. I'm stumped on this.
Since I have and A & B week, how to I properly pro-rate so if someone signs
up they get the correct pro-rated amount for the week they are being
    assigned?

To make this work, you'll use the Bi-Weekly proration charge discount tool and set it up so that it only applies to your bi-weekly share types.

Because you do not allow members to choose their status as either A or B week deliveries, when they sign up for a biweekly share, you can then add them to the A or B week which is appropriate for the amount they've paid (and the number of weeks they've missed).

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks,
