Member Password

I have a renewing member who is having difficulty setting a new password. Only thing is, I don't require members to have passwords and have never tried to build that into my program. Other folks have been able to sign up without a PW.

Is this the member's choice, she made for security? What can I do to assist her getting signed up.

    Hi Mike:

Correct - your members should not have to login to re-sign up for the new season. She should just need to go to the signup page and click the "returning members" link. If you want, you could just direct her directly there via this link:

Members can set up a password if they want, but they don't even need that to log into their account. They can do that via an email link. If they go to the login page, there will be the option to login with password or "login via email". If they put their email address in the "login via email" field, it will send them a link that will allow them log directly in. Then if they wish to reset their password, they can do it once they are logged in.

    Hope this helps.
